This Privacy Policy explains how Gabriel Benaim, LMHC (“I,” “me,” or “my”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit gbenaim.com or contact me through this website. I provide online psychotherapy services to clients located in Florida.

This policy applies to this public website and its contact form. It does not replace any informed-consent documents or Notice of Privacy Practices that may apply if you become a client.

Form submissions are processed through WordPress and WPForms and delivered to my business email through an authenticated mail service. Messages and related delivery logs may be retained in the website, hosting, security, or email systems used to operate the site.

Please do not submit detailed clinical, medical, financial, or crisis-related information through this website or ordinary email. These channels are not intended to serve as a treatment portal or emergency service. Submitting a form does not establish a therapist-client relationship. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency room.

If you become a client, clinical information will be handled under the privacy, informed-consent, recordkeeping, and telehealth practices that apply to your care, including Headway’s practices when services are scheduled or billed through Headway.

Cookies and Performance Measurement

This site may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for website functionality, security, form operation, and administrative access. Cloudflare also provides security and limited performance measurement for the site. This website does not currently use advertising pixels, remarketing tools, or third-party advertising networks.

Inquiry messages are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage follow-up, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Copies may remain for a limited period in routine backups, email systems, or technical logs. Clinical records, if a therapist-client relationship is established, are retained under separate professional and legal recordkeeping requirements.

I use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted website connections, restricted administrative access, authenticated email delivery, and website security tools. No website, form, email system, or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your Choices and Requests

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you submitted through this website. I may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children’s Privacy

This public website is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through it.
