ONLINE ANXIETY THERAPY ACROSS FLORIDA
Anxiety Therapy in Florida
Anxiety can make it hard to be present even when life looks fine from the outside. Your mind may keep searching for what could go wrong, while your body stays tense, restless, or exhausted. I help adults and teens ages 13 and older understand the patterns behind anxiety and develop more flexible ways to respond.

Does Any of This Feel Familiar?
Anxiety is not always a panic attack or an obvious fear. It can show up in the way you think, make decisions, relate to people, and move through your day.
Overthinking
Replaying conversations, imagining worst-case outcomes, or feeling unable to stop analyzing a decision.
Anxiety in the Body
Tension, headaches, fatigue, a racing heart, stomach discomfort, restlessness, or trouble sleeping.
Social Anxiety
Worrying about how you came across, feeling watched or judged, or avoiding situations that draw attention to you.
Health Anxiety
Monitoring your body, searching for explanations, or needing repeated reassurance that something is not wrong.
Avoidance and Procrastination
Putting off calls, decisions, schoolwork, social plans, or difficult conversations because the discomfort feels too strong.
Irritability and Overload
Feeling on edge, becoming frustrated quickly, or needing to withdraw because your mind and body feel overwhelmed.
Therapy That Goes Beyond “Just Relax”
You may already know that your fears are not always logical. Being told to calm down rarely helps. Our work focuses on what anxiety is doing, what keeps it going, and how you can respond differently without waiting to feel completely certain.
Understand the Cycle
Notice the triggers, thoughts, body responses, avoidance, and reassurance habits that reinforce anxiety over time.
Practice a Different Response
Develop practical ways to respond to worry, uncertainty, and physical discomfort without automatically following anxiety’s instructions.
Move Toward What Matters
Make choices based on your values and goals, even when some discomfort or uncertainty is still present.
How I Work With Anxiety
I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). We may examine thinking habits, avoidance, reassurance-seeking, and the ways anxiety has shaped your choices.
We can also look at the deeper experiences and beliefs connected to safety, control, self-worth, or relationships. Some sessions are more reflective. Others are practical and skills-based. We decide together what is most useful.
The Goal
The goal is not to eliminate every anxious thought. It is to help anxiety take up less space, recover more quickly when it appears, and make decisions with greater clarity and confidence.
When Anxiety Shows Up in the Body
Anxiety can contribute to muscle tension, headaches, stomach discomfort, fatigue, a racing heart, shortness of breath, or difficulty sleeping. These symptoms can have many causes, so appropriate medical evaluation matters. In therapy, we can explore how stress and emotion may be interacting with your physical experience without dismissing what your body is telling you or replacing medical care.
Online Anxiety Therapy for Adults and Teens
For Adults
Anxiety may center on work, relationships, health, family responsibilities, or major decisions. Therapy can help you understand the pressure you carry and respond without letting worry make every choice for you.
For Teens Ages 13+
For teens, anxiety may show up through school pressure, social worries, avoidance, irritability, perfectionism, or physical complaints. Parent or guardian involvement is discussed based on age, needs, and privacy requirements.

Common Questions About Anxiety Therapy
Do I need an anxiety diagnosis to start therapy?
No. You can reach out because worry, stress, avoidance, or physical tension is affecting your life, even if you have never received a formal diagnosis.
What types of anxiety do you work with?
I work with persistent worry, overthinking, social anxiety, health anxiety, panic symptoms, stress-related physical symptoms, and anxiety connected to life transitions or difficult experiences. We can discuss fit during a consultation or first session.
Can therapy help when anxiety feels physical?
Therapy can help you understand and change stress responses that may be contributing to physical discomfort. Because physical symptoms can have many causes, therapy should complement rather than replace appropriate medical evaluation and care.
Can I attend therapy if I take medication?
Yes. Many clients use therapy alongside medication. I do not prescribe medication, but with your written permission I can coordinate with your prescriber when that would support your care.
Do you accept insurance?
I currently accept Aetna, Florida Blue, and Cigna. Coverage varies by plan. Headway verifies your benefits and provides a cost estimate before your first session. Self-pay is also available.
Are sessions available in Spanish?
Yes. Online anxiety therapy is available in English or Spanish for clients who are physically located in Florida during the session.
